Google not so plus
So far Google+ is pretty useless to me.
It’s not a replacement for Facebook, because I use Facebook to keep in touch with people who think Facebook is the Internet. It’s highly unlikely that most of my Facebook contacts will see any value at all in creating a Google+ account, much less transition to it.
It doesn’t have the distilled-one-liner-touch-and-go low impact of Twitter. Just look at that stream G+ stream. Kaaaa-lunky.
It lacks the both the interestingness and charm of Tumblr, whether we’re talking about the dashboard or looking at individual blogs that people have set up.
The one thing it does have is shitloads of people adding me to Circles, in a way that people have never done on Twitter or even Facebook. Who the fuck are these people? I can only imagine what it’s like for people who are actually, ya know, popular.
