Naboo is back home. He had hunkered down in a carport across the highway, apparently too nervous to respond for the whole week that Katie walked the neighborhood calling his name. The woman next door to the house where he was heard him mewing over a few nights and when she finally got a look at him, she recognized him from the fliers and called Katie. Even when Katie was in the carport, he didn’t show himself until she was right in front of the boxes he was hiding behind. He’s down to 12 pounds from 15, but otherwise got a clean bill of health from one of the vets at the clinic where Katie works. And he won’t stop purring. Or running over to his food bowl. (Yes, this will be posted pretty much everywhere I have an account.)
